THE PROJECT

EQUAL FUTURES

The “Equal futures” Erasmus Plus project has identified several distinct target groups that play crucial roles in achieving its objectives of empowering youth feminist activists and promoting gender equality and women’s rights. These target groups have been selected strategically to ensure the project’s impact and reach extend across various sectors of society. Each target group contributes unique expertise, resources, and perspectives, creating a comprehensive approach to advancing gender equality. The identified target groups are as follows:

Youth Feminist Activists

This group constitutes the primary beneficiaries of the project. By focusing on empowering and strengthening young individuals actively engaged in feminist activism, the project aims to enhance their skills, knowledge, and impact. These activists are vital drivers of change and serve as catalysts for promoting gender equality and women's rights in their respective communities.

Youth Organizations

Youth-led organizations and groups focusing on gender equality, women's rights, and feminism are pivotal partners and participants in the project. Their involvement amplifies the project's impact by mobilizing and supporting youth activists, providing expertise, an disseminating project outcomes within their networks.

Universities and Research Institutes

Academic institutions specializing in gender studies, social sciences, and activism are targeted for engagement. Their contribution in terms of research support, expertise, and resources enriches the project's training workshops, policy research, and knowledge exchange efforts.

Women's Rights NGOs

Non-governmental organizations dedicated to women's rights, gender equality, and feminist activism bring substantial expertise, resources, and networks to the project. Their involvement strengthens training workshops, advocacy campaigns, mentorship programs, and policy research, amplifying the project's impact.

Government Institutions

Government bodies responsible for gender equality policies, youth affairs, and human rights are important partners. By fostering dialogue and partnerships with these institutions, the project aims to influence policy development, gain support for advocacy efforts, and promote the implementation of gender equality strategies.

Civil Society Organizations and Activists

Other civil society organizations and activists working on gender equality, social justice, and human rights are invited to participate. Their engagement in conferences, networking events, and joint advocacy campaigns fosters collaboration, broadens connections, and enhances the project's reach.

General Public and Decision-Makers

Raising awareness among the general public on gender equality issues and engaging decision-makers, including policymakers, community leaders, and influencers, are vital aspects of the project. By targeting this group, the project seeks to create spaces for advocacy, policy influence, and broader societal change.
